Even from a young age, Dr. Amanda Miller knew she would pursue a career as a dentist. “Dentistry allows me to care for the well-being of my patients, and equips me with the skills to make my patients feel better about their smiles and themselves.” Dr. Miller enjoys the challenges and rewards of daily practice and encourages an open forum with her patients. She strives to provide a comfortable and caring environment and believes even the most fearful patient can have a positive experience at the dentist.
Dr. Miller attended both the University of New Brunswick and Dalhousie University, where she completed her Bachelor degree in Science and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery. She is committed to staying informed about new technology and techniques through continuing education courses and is a member of the Nova Scotia Dental Association and Canadian Dental Association.
Dr. Miller was born in Oromocto, New Brunswick and has lived most of her life in the Maritimes. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys running, traveling, swimming and is learning how to play golf.
