Dr. Kaur was born and raised in India. She obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from India in 2003. Dr. Kaur moved to Canada with her family in 2010 and pursued the qualification process for internationally trained dentists in Canada. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Faculty of Dentistry, Dalhousie University, in 2019. Following her DDS, she completed a General Practice Residency (GPR) in 2020 at Dalhousie. During her Residency, she gained advanced training in general dentistry, emphasizing surgery, hospital dentistry, medically complex patients, medical emergencies, sedation and public health. She is currently a part-time clinical instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie, educating the next generation of dentists. Dr. Kaur emphasizes comprehensive dental care with a focus on preventive care. She is a firm believer in the delivery of ethical, comprehensive care and patient education.
Dr. Kaur lives in Halifax with her husband and two young girls. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking and explores the great outdoors of our province.
